GBP 8 million adspend envisaged
Marketing media reports this week indicate that the UK advertising  agency Red Brick Road has landed a lucrative GBP 8 million account to promote the on and offline operations of the Gala Coral betting group.

One report suggested that Red Brick landed the account after impressing the gaming company with its first-round pitch.

The contract will see the agency working with Gala’s entire business, encompassing its Gala Online gambling brand as well as Gala Bingo, Gala Casinos and Eurobet. The account will additionally embrace strategic work to be overseen by Red Brick Road strategy director David Hackworthy.

The project represents the second time that Gala has reviewed its advertising in the past year since its acquisition of Coral Eurobet for GBP 2.18 billion. The Red Brick appointment will not affect the GBP 7 million direct marketing account held by Tequila, or MediaVest Manchester’s handling of the media planning and buying.
