Online bingo is popular as ever

The major brands of the online bingo industry can be satisfied: bingo once available only in halls or at festivals is a hit online, and this across Europe.

According to a study published by the British company H2Gambling Capital, there are more and more online bingo fans, and suddenly companies like William Hill, PartyGaming and 888 Holdings are expected to grow their networks in this branch.
According to the study, the income generated by online bingo in Great Britain should grow by 20% this year with a figure going up 1, 6 billion dollars by the end of 2010.

The study published by H2 confirms that online bingo has proved to be more resistant to the credit crunch than any other online games.

Net revenues of online bingo and skill games like backgammon for William Hill, have risen by 50% over the first part of 2009, while revenues from more “traditional” games have decreased slightly (-1%). William Hill expects its gross income (including payouts) should increase by 50% by 2010. They are reaching 250 million this year. The company 888 Holdings meanwhile, still young in this sector, expects to generate around 100 million dollars in revenue from online bingo the next few years.
