Lady Luck has struck at a Bilston bingo club with two players hitting jackpots totalling more than £300,000 within days of each other.
Two members of Mecca Bilston are celebrating after picking up more than £200,000 and £100,000 respectively.
A 40-year-old mother from Wednesfield won the bigger cash pot as well as regional and house prizes of £1,403 and £250.
She said today: I never expected to win this much money. Its mind-blowing. I just cant comprehend it.
The woman, who works as a site manager for a cleaning company and asked not to be named, has been a member of the Springvale Way club since 1998. She added: This is going to make such a difference to my childrens future. Im going to be putting some money aside for them. Were also going to take a family holiday.
The other winner was a 43-year-old from Dudley. Details were only today made public.
The club also had two regional winners last week. On Wednesday a young woman won £3,000 and the next day a Bilston man in his 20s won £1,100.
*Punters in Wolverhampton are preparing to mourn the loss of the Mecca bingo club in Skinner Street, which will close on March 31.
