Rajesh Modha, a 44-year old pharmacist from Northampton, experienced luck twice. After winning his first jackpot of £63,000 at Betfair online casino, two days later he took home another £25,000 playing the online slot machine that had secured him his first win.
Spokesperson for Betfair, Oliver Bowen, said, “The odds of the same player winning these two jackpots are more than ten million to one.”
Modha has been an avid sports bettor and poker player over the past few years, and was laying his bets on the Super Bowl when his first huge win rolled in.
“I was just sitting there watching the game. I never thought that I would win this much, I’m thrilled to bits,” he said.
“The second win was unbelievable. I’m just riding the crest of the wave at the moment,” he added.
Back in December, 2006, Modha also won the Ladbrokes Poker Million V tournament. He has already ordered a new BMW with his winnings, which is expected to arrive next week.
